Adelaide agency celebrates its biggest haul of awards following successful merger

The newly amalgamated LJ Hooker Glenelg Brighton office had plenty of reasons to celebrate after winning five awards across a number of categories at the network’s annual Night of the Stars Awards held last week.

The black-tie gala dinner event shines a light on the exceptional performance of the network’s real estate professionals working in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

LJ Hooker Glenelg merged with LJ Hooker Brighton in April last year and the team is now managed by principals Jarad Henry, Rebecca Henry and Peter Hurcombe.

The agency was awarded Top Performance Manager – Property Management (Rebecca Henry), Top Property Manager (Sharon Trowbridge), Top Executive (Trinity Egglestone), Best Property Management – Organic Business and Top Office All Income Medium.

“I have been attending the Night of the Stars for 16 years and this was definitely the biggest awards night we have ever had,” said Ms Henry, who is both Office Manager and Property Management Principal.

“We are so proud of the team, it has all come together for us this year. It has been a collaboration of having the right people in the right roles.”

The Night of the Stars recognises the very best in sales, property management, commercial real estate and operations by showcasing the unparalleled contributions of LJ Hooker offices across Australia. The glittering event was held at Sky City and attended by agents from both SA and NT.

General Manager of Network, Stephen Mutton congratulated LJ Hooker Glenelg Brighton on their successful merger and success over the past year.

“The determination and hard work invested by Jarad, Rebecca and Peter is now paying off and they are reaping the rewards of all the long hours they have invested into the business,” Mr Mutton said.

“They were among many new award recipients who have achieved outstanding results during what has been a challenging market during the past 12 months with a limited amount of stock available.

“We know that awards and recognition play a key part in LJ Hooker’s value offering. Our offices continue to do amazing work and it is wonderful to come together and celebrate these achievements together as a group.”

Top Property Manager Sharon Trowbridge said winning the award had been a long-time goal since she joined the LJ Hooker network five years ago.

“The award is validation that I am doing a good job, that I am achieving my goals and looking after my clients,” she said.

“It has been a very busy year for us due to new marketing initiatives which resulted in new business. There have been a lot of tenants out there but property management depends on matching the right tenant with the right home.”

“It is a job that can be challenging, but I am always very open and honest with both landlords and tenants, it is about working as a team.”
